Ripping lengths, cross cutting or accurately cutting mitres are the tip of the iceberg for this machine. It’s from Germany, enough said, but let’s elaborate anyway. We can cut to an accuracy of 0.1mm, that’s the thickness of a piece of paper. The blade tilts to 45 degrees, making those mitred waterfall bench tops look seamless. We also have a table protractor for those massive angle cuts.
Got some timber that’s bowed, cupped or twisted? This is the machine to straighten and accurately square 2 sides to 90 degrees, ready for the thicknesser, and with a spiral cutter, this machine will easily dress timber that is likely to tear out, like Spotted Gum. All that’s needed is a light sand to finish it off.
Whether timber has to be machined down from a specific thickness or to finish up the ‘squaring’ process that the Surface Planer started, this is the machine to do it. With the capability to take timber up to 630mm wide, and from a depth of a huge 300mm to a minimal 3mm thick, there’s not much this machine can’t do! We’ve got spiral cutter, you can expect a super smooth finish.
This versatile machine will perform anything from simple rebates, to running decorative profiles. We have the ability to run normal router bits, both ¼” and ½”, and with a cutting head that can tilt up to 45 degrees, the possibilities are huge.
